JEEP Gearbox / Transmission Repair with Warranty

Check if your jeep shows one or more common signs of transmission issues:

• Overrunning clutch (AWD-overdrive) problems — typical for Grand Cherokee, Wrangler, etc.: unusual slipping, noises, and hard shifting. The gearbox may “hesitate,” cut torque, and jolt on downshifts.
• Hydraulic coupling/torque converter faults — in Jeep (Renegade, Cherokee), sharp jolts and vibrations appear due to worn coupling parts. Symptoms include strong knocks and noise when AWD engages.
• Automatic transmission overheating — in hot weather or traffic jams (Grand Cherokee, Patriot), the AT overheats: knocking and humming noises occur, gears may slip, often with a burning oil smell and valve body malfunctions.
• Valve body/solenoid failure — Jeeps may show sudden jerks and vibrations when shifting, sometimes entering limp mode (error light on). Symptoms include jolts at start or loss of power, requiring solenoid block diagnostics.
• CVT issues — in Jeep models with CVT (Compass/Patriot), worn bearings and belt cause humming and vibration. The gearbox jerks during hard acceleration, and after overheating a metallic ringing is often heard.
