Jerking when starting, especially cold or in traffic – clutches slipping or poorly adapted.
Knocks when shifting gears (especially 1→2 and 2→3) – may indicate clutch wear, mechatronics fault, or actuator errors.
Delayed engagement of “D” or “R” – shift engages with a 1–2 second delay, early sign of component wear.
Shuddering and slipping under load – DSG cannot transfer torque, clutch slipping or gearbox overheating.
Transmission “thinks” or fails to upshift/downshift – may be caused by faulty solenoids, mechatronics errors, or software failure.
Transmission warning light / Check Engine with gearbox errors. Common codes: P17BF, P1810, P17D8, P072A etc.
Gearbox stuck in one gear or goes into limp mode – often locks in 2nd or 3rd after overheating or pressure fluctuations.
Knocking, noise or humming when starting/braking – may be due to worn forks, clutches or bushings.

Repair time depends on the type of fault. Simpler tasks, such as clutch replacement, are done within 1 day. Average repair takes 1–3 days. Some common faults we fix within 5 hours if we have parts in stock. We’ll provide the exact timeframe immediately after diagnostics.

💰 Can I find out the price in advance?

We will give an approximate price after free diagnostics. The exact amount is determined after disassembly and damage assessment. The minimum price is around CZK 12,000, a full overhaul starts from CZK 50,000. All steps and prices are agreed in advance – no hidden costs.

🛠 Is there a warranty for the repair?

Yes, we provide a 12-month or 20,000 km warranty – for both labor and spare parts. We issue a warranty certificate. If a problem occurs within this period, we fix it free of charge and without unnecessary questions.

⚙️ Do you work with different types of gearboxes?
