Thank you guys so much. On Saturday, 2 hours before leaving for vacation, I discovered that my front right wheel was leaking. I didn't have a glue set. We were really pressed for time. They're the only ones open on Saturdays. I called them, made an appointment and went there. Absolutely nice guys. They fixed the bike and the vacation can begin. Thank you again 👏👏

I contacted the service because of a dent on the body. They did everything quickly, the quality of work was excellent - the dent was gone.
I would like to separately mention the staff - they were polite, explained everything in detail, and did not rush me anywhere. It is obvious that they are professionals who know their business.

I am happy with the work, I recommend it!

I recently visited Bulldog Garage for an oil and oil filter change, and I was very satisfied with the service. I bought my car used, and they kindly checked it out for me for free. The mechanics were all friendly, professional, and most importantly, very patient with all my questions. The price was affordable compared to other places. I’m definitely coming back and highly recommend them. Thank you to the whole team!

Common questions about AT/DSG/CVT and MT fluid change

How does a partial fluid change work?

  1. Short diagnostics: scan tool, leak check, test drive.

  2. Assess fluid condition (color, smell, contaminants).

  3. Drain via service plugs/thermostatic valve.

  4. Fill fresh ATF to the manufacturer’s spec.

  5. Set level at operating temperature.

  6. Leak check and short test drive.

How much fluid is needed?

  1. For a partial change it’s typically 4–5 liters of fresh fluid.

  2. For a full machine change 8–12+ liters are needed, plus a few liters for flushing and pushing out the old fluid.

In all cases the fluid is selected strictly by the manufacturer’s spec (VIN) and filled according to the recommended procedure.

How does a full fluid change work?

  1. Preliminary transmission check (diagnostics, inspection for leaks and faults).

  2. Assess fluid condition by color, smell, and contaminants.

  3. Complete extraction of old fluid.

  4. Flush the transmission hydraulic circuit.

  5. Replace the filter and pan gasket.

  6. Fill new fluid to the full specified volume.

  7. Adaptation/reset and check at operating temperature.

  8. Final performance check and handover of recommendations to the customer.

Do manual transmissions need fluid changes and how is it done?

Yes, manual transmissions also have service intervals. Most manufacturers recommend changing the oil every 60–100,000 km (or more often under severe conditions).

  1. Lift inspection, leak check, assess level and condition.

  2. Drain via the plug; clean magnets if present.

  3. Fill the specified gear oil (viscosity/approval) per VIN.

  4. Level check (through the inspection hole or per service procedure).

Flushing is usually not required for MT. The procedure is typically faster than for AT.
